Yearning the Seeds of a New Dimension

The amount of thought put into this manipulation is astounding. Initially I thought it was a Renaissance style painting, simply for the seamless merging of these images.

Each part is lit from the same angle, and the edge masking of each element is done precisely. I also love the tiny tears on the "matte". It seems to imply this was a photo behind a frame, and that there is more to this very real world portrayed.

The colors are simply amazing, giving both the feeling of a sun bleached photo from the 70's as well as that Renaissance aesthetic I mentioned before.

The circular format is an interesting and daring choice. I normally enjoy superwide formats, but you've seemed to capture all the things necessary to this image and balanced them well regardless. There is an intense sense of depth from the trees in the distance to the lilly pads up close, a huge amount of space is created, drawing me in to explore.

The content is definitely thought out, I really enjoy the references to Dali's famous elephants (are the swans perhaps a reference to Dali's "Swans Reflecting Elephants"?) and the monolith from "2001: a Space Odyssey".

I haven't the foggiest how this connects to the linked song. Is this an album cover? Whatever the content is intended to imply, I certainly got a story in my head from it, and the image is so well rendered that nothing distracts from the story it tells.
